AN EVENING WITH
SUSAN GRAHAM & BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL
On November 30, 2016, Orchestra of St. Luke's is holding a benefit to support The DiMenna Center for Classical Music’s transformational service to New York’s cultural community.
Hosted in The DiMenna Center’s Mary Flagler Cary Hall, the special evening will feature an intimate conversation between Susan Graham, renowned mezzo-soprano and DiMenna Center Council Co-Chair, and Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tony Award winner and 2016 inductee into the Theater Hall of Fame. Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and an enlivened discussion between the artists about their work, with examples of their musical influences.
Proceeds from the event support The DiMenna Center, New York City’s only acoustically-optimized rehearsal and recording space dedicated to classical music. An unparalleled resource serving the entire musical community, The DiMenna Center has served 500 ensembles and more than 100,000 guests with subsidized rates and state-of-the-art facilities since opening in 2011.
