In Orchestra of St. Luke’s annual School Concerts series, K-12 students are introduced to the music, stories, and inspirations of influential composers from history as well as the present day.

This season, we celebrate world-renowned composer and clarinetist Kinan Azmeh. Born in Damascus, Syria, Azmeh draws from a variety of influences including his experiences playing Arabic music, living in New York, and traveling the world. In this interactive concert, students will witness how this inspirational composer uses music to transcend cultural barriers and bring people closer together. Kinan Azmeh joins OSL as guest soloist in this special event.
