Ticketing Information and Frequently Asked Questions

Ticket holders for performances cancelled due to the COVID-19 epidemic have the following options:

  • Donate the value of your tickets as a tax-deductible contribution to the OSL Relief Fund, established by Orchestra of St. Luke’s to help to sustain the work necessary to respond to this crisis, relaunch our mission, and to ease the financial burden on our musicians. All ticket donations will also be 1:1 matched by OSL’s Board of Directors.
  • Hold the value of your ticket on-account with OSL for use on any Chamber Music Series or Bach Festival through the 2020-2021 season.
  • Receive a refund for the value of your tickets. OSL will reach out directly to ticket holders to make arrangements.

Please note that OSL only operates the box office for our Chamber Music Series, our Bach Festival, our Free Community Concerts, and for our Free School Concerts.

To purchase tickets to our concerts at Carnegie Hall, call (212) 247–7800 or purchase online at CarnegieHall.org.

Ticket purchases and box office-related inquiries for all other concerts should be directed to the performance venue, which is listed on our calendar page. and elsewhere on our site.

Can I buy tickets prior to the day of the performance?

To place an order by phone or to request an order form be sent to your home, call (212) 594–6100 x2. You can also buy tickets to our chamber music series online at OSLmusic.org/Chamber.

Do you have any fees?

OSL is a non-profit and to help offset expenses related to box office operations, we have a fee attached. We make every effort to keep the fees as reasonable as possible and as low or lower than the competition.

Subscription purchases will incur a $2.50 per ticket handling fee and individual ticket purchases are charged $2.50 fee per ticket.

When will my tickets be mailed?

You should receive them no later than 2 weeks after your purchase.

What if I’m not able to attend a chamber series concert?

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, you may return them as a tax-deductible donation. By donating your tickets, you give another music lover the opportunity to hear a concert that often sells out. You also help Orchestra of St. Luke’s performers to play to a full house. To donate your tickets, just call (212) 594–6100 x2.

Can I bring my children to a concert? Can they sit on my lap?

Children over six years old are welcome at all St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble concerts. However, they must sit in their own seat.

Is there reserved seating?

The Morgan Library & Museum and Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center have reserved seating. Please inform us of special seating needs or requests when placing your order. Brooklyn Museum has general admission, with open seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you arrive early to secure particular seats or to reserve seats for a large group.

Can you tell me where my seat at The Morgan Library & Museum is located?

The first three rows of The Morgan Library & Museum’s Gilder Lehrman Hall are DD, EE and FF. Single letters follow, beginning with A, B, C. Click here to view the seating chart.

I don’t have my museum membership ID handy, can I still buy a discounted ticket?

Yes. Just be sure to bring your museum ID the day of the performance when you pick up your tickets.
