OSL Mentorship Program

Supporting the professional development of advanced, graduate-level orchestral musicians who share our passion for chamber music and community engagement.

To participate, you must be affiliated with and recommended by one of our partner institutions: Manhattan School of Music or Mannes School of Music.

The OSL Mentorship Program (OMP) brings together exceptional graduate-level chamber ensembles from New York City’s leading conservatories for a season of artistic growth, mentorship, and professional development. Participants receive individualized coaching from Orchestra of St. Luke’s musicians while exploring a range of chamber repertoire, refining ensemble skills, and developing meaningful professional relationships with professional artists.

Beyond the rehearsal room, participants engage with the broader musical ecosystem through career-focused workshops, community engagement performances in New York City schools, and behind-the-scenes experiences with Orchestra of St. Luke’s educational programs. The season culminates in the Young Artist Series (YAS), a public performance at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music that celebrates the work of the program’s emerging artists.
