
This form is for students who are interested in joining the Youth Orchestra of St. Luke’s (YOSL) after-school program and ensembles.
Students who enroll in the after-school program will meet twice a week after school and learn the basics of violin, viola, or cello, depending on your school site.
Students who enroll in YOSL Ensembles will meet once a week at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music for rehearsals with Tutti Ensemble and Symphony.
Throughout the school year, all students will participate in creative projects, community performances, and program-wide concerts.
YOSL After-School program serve grades 2 and up and offer instruction in violin, viola, and cello. Interested students grades 2, 3, 4, or 5 must attend one of YOSL’s partner sites.

YOSL Ensembles program is open to students from grades 2 and up, living within the five boroughs of New York City.
YOSL students engage in musical rigor and cognitive growth, and experience adding their voices to an ensemble that represents their community. Families in YOSL also have access to see the renowned Orchestra of St. Luke’s in Carnegie Hall and other venues throughout NYC.
Rehearsals for Tutti Ensemble and the De La Bruyère Youth Symphony will begin on Friday, September 25th, 2026. After-school group classes will begin the week of September 28th, 2026. YOSL programming will run through May 2027 for the 2026-2027 school year.
