The spring Composers of Note season continues OSL and Temple Emanu-el’s collaboration celebrating mainstays of the chamber repertoire and significant new and historic works highlighting living composers, with a focus on some of the composers championed in OSL’s Music in Color programming initiative. The spring season will feature three unique programs of music, ranging from great multi movement works by Gabriela Lena Frank and Johannes Brahms, to a celebration of the harp through works by Debussy, Chávez, and Ramos, to a meditation on the concept of “home” with pieces by Habibi, Boccherini, and Dvořák.
