Based in New York City, the Cutwater Quintet consists of trumpeters Matthew Carruthers and Elias Doyle, horn player Itayetzy Uranga-Caamano, trombonist Geonhee Lee, and tubist Matthew Styrna. Formed at Mannes School of Music, this multicultural brass quintet enjoys performing works ranging from jazz, classical, contemporary and more. The ensemble has been coached by Nicholas Schwartz, Brandon Ridenour, and John Rojak.
