Lindy Clarke

A founding member of the Claring Chamber Players, the Hudson Trio and the NY Baroque Consort, Lindy Clarke has been  guest artist with the St. Lukes Chamber Ensemble, Mezzrow, BargeMusic, the Saratoga Chamber Players and the North Country Chamber Players. Ms. Clarke is the musician coordinator and performer for the Friends of Mozart in NYC, and has been an artist/ coordinator for WQXR’s live broadcasts from the NY Botanical Garden.

Ms. Clarke has performed with numerous period instrument ensembles and orchestras: the American Classical Orchestra, the Long Island Baroque Ensemble, the Dodd String Quartet and currently, Trio Pasqualati.

A member of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Paul Taylor Dance Company orchestra, and the New York Pick Up Ensemble (PDQ Bach), she has also performed with American Ballet Theatre, the Mark Morris Dance Group, and has collaborated with celebrated mime artist Yass Hakoshima.

Ms. Clarke was a teaching artist at NYC’s Special Music School from 1995 to 2002; she now coaches dozens of amateur chamber ensembles each year as a faculty member of Summertrios. Festivals include Caramoor, the Sebago Long Lake Chamber Players and the New England Bach Festival.
