Norman Benzaquen was born in 1946 in Tangiers, Morocco. He graduated in 1970 as a Civil Engineer from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, France. He then relocated to New York City, and in 1972 graduated with an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Mr. Benzaquen is a partner at Gilder Gagnon Howe & Co. LLC, a brokerage firm specializing in investment management. In addition to his role as Chair of the Board of OSL, he serves as a Trustee of the New-York Historical Society, Congregation Shearith Israel and the American Sephardi Foundation.
