Thomas Giles

Called “insanely clever” by the UK’s ClassicFM, Thomas Giles is a New York City-based saxophonist devoted to the performance of contemporary music and interdisciplinary work, regularly collaborating with artists of other media as a multi-instrumentalist, improviser, and composer. Widely active as an educator, Giles teaches woodwinds, music theory, and improvisation to young learners throughout the New York area. As a member of the critically acclaimed Mana Quartet, he has given dozens of masterclasses across the United States and abroad at institutions such as the Manhattan School of Music, Miami’s Frost School of Music, and the Art Academy of Szczecin, Poland.
