YOSL works with community partners to provide after-school instrumental instruction to young people in Hell’s Kitchen, fostering essential life skills through the cultivation of teamwork and musical excellence. Each season, students are given the opportunity to show the results of their hard work in four YOSL concerts presented throughout the year.
