Ticketing Information
Somewhere in the Middle is an adrenaline-fueled work that seamlessly weaves together Taylor movement DNA with the infectious rhythms of Wynton Marsalis, Count Basie, Sarah Vaughan, Duke Ellington, and other beloved Big Band favorites. Described by The New York Times as “bubbly as a warm bath,” this dance extravaganza exudes boundless energy, with dancers soaring, rolling, and smiling recklessly, creating a vibrant atmosphere “like jazz day at the beach.”
In a frightening vision of urban apocalypse with set and costumes by Alex Katz, Paul Taylor’s Last Look engrosses the audience with its intensity. Taylor’s choreography raises questions about the origins of the humanoids on stage, leaving an indelible impression of an unnerving and mesmerizing performance.
Danced with unbridled joy and energy, Mercuric Tidings showcases young individuals cavorting with the kinetic propensities of young godlets. Taylor’s choreography captures the sheer pleasure and poetry of movement, creating a dynamic and exuberant dance piece.
